Care Options for Current Clients

As my practice shifts into a more structured, phased model of care, I want current clients to have a clear way to continue working together with more intention, flexibility, and support.

Below are the options available to current clients during the transition.

  • For when you want steady support and consistent forward movement.

We meet weekly so sessions can build on each other, helping you stay engaged with the work and maintain momentum over time.

    Structure:

    • 4 sessions

    • Scheduled weekly

    • 60 or 90 minutes

This option is structured as a set of sessions that are planned and paid for in advance.

  • For when things feel more active, stuck, or in need of closer guidance.

We meet more frequently, which allows us to work with patterns as they’re happening, reinforce new responses, and create momentum while your system is more open to change.

    Structure:

    • 8 sessions

    • Scheduled twice weekly

    • 30 minutes per session

This option is structured as a set of sessions that are planned and paid for in advance.

  • For when you’re working on applying and stabilizing what we’ve already built.

Sessions are spaced out to allow for integration between visits, while still providing support as you strengthen new patterns and build consistency.

    Structure:

    • 4 sessions

    • Scheduled every other week

    • 60 or 90 minutes

This option is structured as a set of sessions that are planned and paid for in advance.

  • For when you’re doing well and want occasional support without a structured plan.

Sessions are scheduled as needed and focus on reflection, reinforcement, and navigating new challenges as they arise.

    Structure:

    • Sessions scheduled individually

    • Typically about once per month

    • 60 or 90 minutes

This option does not require purchasing sessions in advance.

Each of these can be structured as a short, planned stretch of sessions so we’re working toward something specific, then pausing to reassess what’s next.

A Note on More Intensive Support

For clients who are:

  • meeting more frequently

  • feeling stuck

  • wanting deeper, faster shifts

There may be an option to move into a more immersive phase of care.

This is a more structured and supported way of working together over a defined period of time, designed to help interrupt patterns, build momentum, and create meaningful change.

If this might be a fit, we can talk through it together.

To help you understand how these options fit together, here’s a simple view of how care typically unfolds over time.

Intensive

For when more support or momentum is needed.

In this phase, we meet more frequently so we can work with patterns as they’re happening, reinforce new responses, and build momentum while your system is more open to change.

This creates a more active container for deeper work and more immediate shifts.

Ex: sessions scheduled multiple times per week over a defined period

Integration

For when you’re working on applying and stabilizing what we’ve already built.

As patterns begin to shift, the work focuses on building consistency, strengthening your capacity to hold change, and supporting integration between sessions.

Sessions are structured to maintain forward movement while allowing space for the work to take hold.

Ex: weekly sessions over a defined period

Expansion

For when you’re doing well and continuing to integrate the work into your life.

Sessions become more spaced out as you rely less on in-session support and more on your own ability to apply and reinforce what you’ve learned.

This phase focuses on maintaining gains, navigating new challenges, and supporting long-term change.

Ex: sessions scheduled periodically, as needed

What’s Actually Changing (and What’s Not)

If you’re currently in therapy with me, very little needs to change right away.

Beginning July 6, session fees will increase.
If you continue scheduling sessions individually, the updated rate will apply at that time.

Beyond that, you have options.

  • You’re welcome to continue working together in the way you currently are through the end of this year.

  • If you’d like to move into a more structured, phased approach, you have the option to purchase a set of sessions in advance at your current rate through August 31.

Starting in 2027, pay-as-you-go sessions will be reserved for maintenance or as-needed support, rather than ongoing treatment

  • Want Help Deciding?

If you’d like, you’re welcome to schedule a brief 15-minute treatment planning call where we can map out the best next step for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. If you prefer to continue scheduling sessions individually, that remains an option through December 2026.

Sessions scheduled on or after July 6 will be billed at the updated rate. Care arcs are simply a way to bring more structure, continuity, and intention to our work together.

  • Phases of care allow us to:

    • Work toward a shared focus over a defined period of time

    • Build momentum across sessions

    • Be more intentional about pacing, depth, and follow-through

They also allow you to pre-purchase sessions, which may include the option to use your current rate before August 31.

  • No. There’s no expectation to make a decision immediately.

We’ll take time to talk through what feels most supportive for you and decide together what makes sense for the next phase of your care.

Please note that if no specific decisions have been made by July 6, any sessions that occur on or after this date will be billed at my new session rates.

  • Beginning July 6, session fees will be:

    • $275 for a 60-minute session

    • $150 for a 30-minute session

If you choose to purchase a care arc in advance before August 31, you may have the option to use your current (legacy) rate for those sessions.

We can talk through what makes the most sense for you.

  • That’s completely okay, and I’m here to help.

It can also help to reflect on:

    • What you’d want the next stretch of our work to focus on

    • How much support feels right right now

    • What you were hoping to move toward when you first started

We’ll use that as a starting point when we talk.

  • That’s okay. These options are meant to provide general structure, not to force a fit.

If what we’re currently doing falls outside of these rhythms—whether that’s more frequent sessions or a different pacing—we’ll talk together about what makes the most sense moving forward.

In some cases, that may mean adjusting into one of these care arcs. In others, it may involve a more customized or immersive phase of care that better supports the work we’re already doing.

  • Absolutely. You’re welcome to schedule a brief 15-minute treatment planning call if you’d like dedicated time to think this through together outside of session.

We can also talk about it during your next session—whatever feels easiest.

  • At the end of each agreed upon treatment phase, we’ll pause and check in on what would be most supportive next.

That might mean continuing at a similar cadence, adjusting the pace, moving into a lighter rhythm, or taking a break.
