That’s because the real solution isn’t just more time, willpower, or to-do lists. And you probably already know that… but it’s so hard to trust when we’ve been taught to think our way out of every problem or treat our wellbeing like a work project (spreadsheets not included).
You’ve been trying to set limits with your mind, when it’s actually your body that runs the show. And that body is still stuck in the belief that staying busy, helpful or agreeable is the safest way to belong.
It’s an old pattern of protection that just needs a different kind of care. And that pattern doesn’t need fixing; it needs understanding. Once you know what it’s been protecting, everything starts to shift. ✨
